Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Senior Radiation Therapist for the Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion. In this key role, you will treat patients, mentor and supervise therapy staff, and contribute to the management of daily operations within Radiation Oncology.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily staffing coverage, rotations, and time usage in the treatment area.
- Review and maintain electronic medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry, and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot problems related to treatment equipment, patient schedules, and staffing.
- Perform patient simulations, deliver prescribed radiation treatment, and assess/educate patients according to specific department guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required, which may include mentoring employees/students and participating in hospital initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Radiation Therapy Certification and Registration
- 3 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

This position requires onsite work at the Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion.
