We are looking for a Quality Technician to inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will report directly to the Quality Team Leader and contribute to our mission of delivering delightful taste and scent experiences.
What You'll Do
- Perform chemical, sensory evaluations, and microbiology tests.
- Create sensory plans and lead sensory evaluations of products.
- Enter test results into SAP timely, resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
- Perform instruments, equipment, and quality deviations troubleshooting in the laboratory, including calibrations.
- Maintain a hygienic, 5S implementation, and safe work environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set proactive measures for trouble prevention.
- Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits, including any audit management system from certification bodies.
- Implement a Continuous Improvement program as a mandatory program such as 5S.
- Participate and coordinate discussion with the project management team, including external parties and vendors.
- Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or S1 in Food Technology, Chemical, Biology, or a related science or chemical/industrial engineering discipline.
- Overall work experience of 3-5 years in QA/QC, preferably with chemical and sensory exposure and quality control for production.
- Operational QC and QA experience with a strong affinity for laboratory systems, sensory evaluation, analytical equipment and instruments, including microbiology tests.
- Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and related local regulations.
- Understanding of the process of line qualification and validation, QC release, and laboratory management systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of packaging tests and packaging development is preferred.
