BMW Group is hiring a Quality Methods Senior Specialist to steer quality prevention and digitalization strategies within Assembly. You will bridge the gap between shopfloor operations and advanced IT reporting systems, implementing prevention strategies and developing innovative solutions for strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Implement and steer prevention strategies (e.g., Red Rabbits) to ensure conformity with the BMW Group Network.
- Lead the integration of new IT projects and digitalization processes to enhance preventive quality assurance.
- Act as the primary technical contact for SAP, providing support and qualification for all IT systems used by assembly associates.
- Drive root cause analysis and validate activity effectiveness using robust controls to prevent defect reoccurrence.
- Develop innovative reporting solutions for all Assembly KPIs, providing real time data to Management for strategic decision making.
- Promote a "Quality Mindset" by training personnel on the relevance and usage of Quality IT Systems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Quality specialization preferred).
- 3+ years in the automotive industry or comparable industrial production.
- 2+ years specifically within a Quality department.
- Proficiency in SAP, SAP BO, SQL queries, Oracle DB, and Microsoft VBA.
- Experience with PDCA, DMAIC, and 8D.
- Advanced communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Fluent Business English.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Red X, or Shainin.
