Nutramax Manufacturing was looking for a Quality Inspector I

Nutramax Manufacturing is hiring a Quality Inspector I to join our team. This role reports to Quality Assurance Management and is responsible for providing daily Quality Assurance support within our Manufacturing and Packaging processes. You'll maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to review documents and support operations in your assigned areas.

What You'll Do

  • Provide Quality Assurance presence through daily execution of packaging lines, manufacturing processes, room clearances, and equipment releases.
  • Perform in-process inspections across all Nutramax manufacturing areas.
  • Assist in the investigation of deviations and review the pest control and environmental monitoring system.
  • Issue labels and other printed materials to operations per the production schedule.
  • Assist with identifying errors and deficiencies within batch records.
  • Organize work to achieve daily goals accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide input on issues affecting product quality, safety, and purity.
  • Assist with the daily operation of the QA Hold area.
  • Submit detailed End of Day reports summarizing daily activities and actions.
  • Train on all SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMPs.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and function within a team environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as directed by supervision.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience in pharmaceutical, food, dietary supplement, or another government-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Great enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
  • A detail-oriented and team-centered approach.
  • Good computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Nice to Have

  • Auditing experience.
  • Troubleshooting skills.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to Quality Assurance Management. This is an onsite role.
