ASR Group is hiring a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to perform critical quality and environmental testing for our Refinery’s products. You’ll ensure the accuracy of data and the reliability of lab instrumentation, playing a key role in maintaining our quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine quality analyses including sediment, grain size distribution, color, brix, polarity, pH, and environmental tests
- Monitor and maintain calibrations for all lab equipment
- Track instrument performance, make adjustments, and alert supervision to problems
- Report equipment condition to your Supervisor and recommend replacements when necessary
- Enter raw data into multiple databases and maintain a clear chronology of entries
- Collect environmental samples at multiple refinery sites during specific alarm conditions and as part of weekly protocols
- Analyze environmental samples to determine sucrose levels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep all required records and documentation
- Enter data into SAP for the generation of Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
- Communicate results to stakeholders and uphold high customer service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED is required
Nice to Have
- At least two (2) years of experience in a Quality department within a related manufacturing or industrial setting
- Previous quality inspection experience
- Previous experience requiring strong mathematical and scientific skill sets

- Hourly Pay Rate: $27.47
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Chalmette, LA. The role typically works rotating 8 or 12-hour shifts to provide 24-hour coverage, including variable weekend shifts.
