You'll be the guardian of quality, safety standards, and ASME compliance. Working closely with the Senior Fabrication Specialist, you'll dive deep into the manufacturing process, meticulously verifying every detail to maintain our legendary standards. You Will: • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of assemblies and components • Verify product dimensions against ASME production drawings and specifications • Observe air and hydrostatic tests, comparing results with established specifications • Prepare and file associated inspection records • Help investigate process-related quality issues • Initiate non-conforming material reports and hold tags • Organize the work area for efficient workflow • Attend safety, departmental, and company meetings • Conduct comprehensive product assessments, visual and measurement tests, and document inspections You Have: • High School education or equivalent, with technical training preferred • 2+ years of manufacturing experience (welding, metal fabrication, or assembly) • ASME fabrication inspection experience is a plus • Basic mathematical skills with an understanding of fractions and decimals • Ability to use precision measurement tools • Capability to read and understand ASME production drawings and specifications Physical Requirements: While performing job duties, you'll frequently walk, talk, and/or hear. Occasionally, you'll stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Flexible work setting spanning both office and manufacturing environments. Occasional duties might extend beyond typical office boundaries.
