Aptar is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring product conformity directly from the production floor, ensuring all output meets our rigorous quality specifications and complies with ISO and safety requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Adhere to all written procedures and documents related to your role.
- Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections of products and assemblies.
- Document all product inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report, identify, and segregate nonconforming products.
- Successfully identify nonconformities and defects.
- Comply with all required safety, ISO, and other procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent visual acuity, including the ability to detect changes under a microscope and discern shades of color.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong self-direction, consistency in repetitive processes, and the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Demonstrated basic math skills, including the ability to read decimals into the thousandths and understand measurement conversions.
- An excellent work ethic and basic problem-solving abilities.
- Timely and accurate monitoring of acceptable and rejectable production.
- Ability to follow and act upon related ISO procedures.
- Demonstrated initiative and the judgment to seek assistance when appropriate.
- Willingness to work on all shifts as assigned.
- A positive teamwork attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment and a good attendance history.
