Version 1 is looking for a Senior QA/Test Engineer to work within an agile team, helping clients achieve their business transformation goals. You will define test strategies and perform both manual and automation testing to support development.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Accurately record and monitor issues.
- Provide support to scrum teams to automate tests to guide development.
- Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
- Provide test estimates.
- Help clients achieve business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions, and providing ongoing guidance and advice in test.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience delivering overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Delivered front end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in Java.
- Practical experience with open source tools such as: Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium or similar.
- Experience in Oracle Forms Based Systems.
- Worked in an agile environment.
- Resident in the UK for five or more years with no more than 30 days per year out of the UK to meet Security Clearance (SC) eligibility or currently hold Security Clearance.
Nice to Have
- Any performance testing experience or other non-functional testing experience would be beneficial.
