Capgemini is hiring a Front/API Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation scripts for web applications and APIs, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with QA and development teams to enhance test coverage and stability.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop automation scripts for web applications, APIs, and critical product flows.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
- Analyze failures, debug scripts, and improve the stability and maintainability of the automation framework.
- Collaborate with manual QA and development to identify automatable cases and optimize coverage.
- Manage test data, environments, and automation metrics reports.
What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in QA.
- At least 3+ years of experience in automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and API automation (RestAssured, Postman/Newman, Karate).
- Experience with frameworks and patterns: POM, BDD (Cucumber), and automation architecture.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes, and languages Java / JavaScript/TS / Python.
- English level B2–C1.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Foundation/Advanced certification.
- Other automation certifications.
