Jobgether is hiring a QA/Release Manager to lead and refine the software release lifecycle in our fast-growing enterprise tech environment. You will oversee the end-to-end process of testing, validation, and delivery for on-premises software solutions, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and DevOps to ensure releases meet high standards of quality, reliability, and stability.

What You'll Do

Lead and implement a comprehensive QA strategy to ensure consistent testing practices.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test plans tailored for on-prem environments.
Oversee functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to guarantee release quality.
Manage the entire release lifecycle from build creation to packaging, documentation, and final delivery.
Ensure version control, upgrade paths, and rollback procedures are validated and reproducible.
Define and monitor QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and release validation rates.
Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing workflows.
Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure release readiness, communication, and sign-off.
Continuously enhance processes and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Conduct retrospective reviews to identify improvement areas in the release and QA cycle.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, Release Management, or a related software delivery role.
Proven background in on-premises or enterprise software release processes.
Strong understanding of software packaging and distribution (e.g., Docker, Helm, Debian/RPM, or VM images).
Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab CI) and artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus).
Solid Linux and scripting skills, with attention to reproducibility and reliability.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Skilled in cross-team coordination, documentation, and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems.

Nice to Have

Bonus points for experience with on-prem deployments, Kubernetes, Docker, or security testing.
Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, or similar credentials are a plus.
