CoverGo is looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer focused on manual testing to ensure the quality of our no-code insurance platform. You will join an agile, international team dedicated to making insurance 100% digital and accessible.
What You'll Do
- Perform manual testing on new technologies and features.
- Identify and resolve quality process issues with minimal supervision.
- Write comprehensive test scenarios and execute them during testing cycles.
- Identify bugs and report them with sufficient detail for developer investigation.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate endpoints, status codes, and response payloads.
- Report testing status to cross-functional teams.
- Execute defined tasks according to guidelines and contribute to problem-solving.
- Provide proactive support to the team.
- Master your craft and leverage it for greater impact.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience using manual testing tools and procedures in an agile environment.
- Hands-on experience in manual API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger), including validating endpoints, status codes, and response payloads.
- Deep understanding of QA theory and the software development life cycle.
- Good understanding of lean/agile QA methodologies.
- Enjoy working in a group and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A commitment to continuous learning of innovative testing approaches and best practices.
- Ability to share new ideas and adapt to changing circumstances.
