Tabby seeks a Senior QA Engineer to launch a reliable product quickly. You will design the testing strategy, perform hands-on mobile and backend testing, and build automation and monitoring. You’ll be part of a global fintech unicorn, working with a high-performing, international engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement automated test suites: unit, integration, API, and end-to-end, covering both mobile app and backend
- Define and maintain QA processes and standards, introducing best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend services in a microservice architecture
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure testability and early detection of issues
- Drive continuous improvement of release quality, deployment pipelines, and overall developer productivity
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and long-term fixes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional QA experience
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications and backend systems
- Strong background in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Experience testing backend services and APIs in a microservices environment
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with test reporting and observability tools such as Allure or equivalent
- Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) and setting up alerts/dashboards
- Strong communication skills in English
