Tabby is hiring a QA Engineer

Tabby is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design and implement automated test strategies, perform manual and automated testing across mobile and backend systems, and contribute to building a reliable, scalable product. The role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test suites: unit, integration, API, and end-to-end, covering both mobile app and backend
  • Define and maintain QA processes and standards, introducing best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Manual testing of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend services in a microservice architecture
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure testability and early detection of issues
  • Drive continuous improvement of release quality, deployment pipelines, and overall developer productivity
  • Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and long-term fixes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional QA experience, including hands-on experience testing mobile applications and backend systems
  • Strong background in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Experience testing backend services and APIs in a microservices environment
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (we use the following; experience with similar tools is also valuable): Backend automation: Go
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (we use the following; experience with similar tools is also valuable): Frontend/test automation: TypeScript + Playwright
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (we use the following; experience with similar tools is also valuable): Mobile automation frameworks: XCUITest, Kaspresso
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with test reporting and observability tools such as Allure or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) and setting up alerts/dashboards
  • Strong communication skills in English
