Future Works is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our transformative platform. You will be accountable for validating application behaviour, model outputs, and automated recommendations against historical baselines and defined business logic.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain automated test coverage across APIs, front-end workflows, data pipelines, and decision-engine behaviour.
- Test the web application across core user journeys, including planner workflows, tabular outputs, visualizations, authentication, and role-based access.
- Build automated evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI output using scenario libraries and regression baselines.
- Validate model recommendations against historical baselines to ensure credible and explainable outputs.
- Test allocation logic, exception handling, edge cases, and business-rule behaviour under real operational constraints.
- Verify that savings calculations, cost deltas, and value-realization outputs reconcile cleanly against agreed baseline logic.
- Own defect tracking, test evidence, regression coverage, and release sign-off for the platform.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks, API testing, UI testing, regression testing, and CI/CD-based quality workflows.
- Strong experience testing web applications, including workflow validation, browser compatibility, and data-heavy interfaces.
- Experience testing AI-enabled systems where outputs are non-deterministic and require structured evaluation frameworks.
- Strong ability to compare outputs against baselines, identify failure patterns, and translate ambiguous behaviour into actionable defects.
- Proven ability to test across application code, data pipelines, model services, and business-rule layers.
- Good judgment around traceability, auditability, and release control in explainable systems.
- Comfort utilizing LLM code assistants and agentic engineering to improve test design, coverage generation, and defect analysis.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with supply chain, logistics, fulfilment, or ERP-driven operational workflows.
Team & Environment
You will be working closely with Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Full Stack Engineers.
