Solidgate is seeking a Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the Integrations team, focusing on ensuring the reliability of payment integrations with global providers. The role emphasizes automation-first quality assurance, testing complex payment flows across card payments and alternative payment methods within a high-scale, backend-driven fintech platform.
What You'll Do
- Define test coverage scope by analyzing functional requirements, risks, and technical specifications to prioritize critical product aspects
- Develop meaningful test artifacts including comprehensive automation plans and test scenarios to ensure key functional coverage and defect detection
- Build fast and reliable automated tests that are stable (non-flaky) and provide timely feedback within the Continuous Integration (CI) process
- Maintain the relevance of the automation test suite by regularly updating and adapting tests to product changes and improving their reliability
- Evolve the automation stack by implementing new tools, optimizing the current framework, and enhancing the speed and usability of test operations
- Ensure product quality confidence by providing timely and relevant information on product status to enable confident feature releases
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in test automation and programming
- Strong knowledge of Java
- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Selenide, Retrofit, Test Management Systems (TMS)
- Solid background in API and UI test automation
- High level of ownership and independence
- Initiative and readiness to improve processes and tooling

- Background in Fintech, especially in payments, billing, or financial processing
