Apply is looking for a QA Automation Engineer Team Lead to lead the QA Automation strategy and team for our mobile banking applications. You will define and implement automation frameworks, drive CI/CD integration, and ensure a high-quality user experience across iOS and Android platforms.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary technical leader, defining and driving the overall QA Automation strategy, framework development, and testing methodologies for mobile and integration platforms. Coach and mentor team members.
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient automated test frameworks using technologies like Typescript, Python, Java, or Kotlin.
- Oversee execution and maintenance of automated end-to-end test suites for mobile applications and backend services, ensuring they run efficiently as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Oversee the logging, management, and triage of bugs, including analysis of failures from automated test runs. Provide clear reporting on automation metrics and quality risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and architects to align automation practices, tooling, and coding standards.
- Champion and implement automated testing for performance, load, stress, and security aspects to ensure system resilience and compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters, driving QA strategy and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Create detailed test cases and scripts for both manual and automated testing to ensure all functionalities and user scenarios are covered.
- Lead execution of comprehensive end-to-end test plans for mobile banking applications on iOS and Android, including integration testing with third-party providers.
- Efficiently log and manage bugs discovered during testing, providing clear descriptions and tracking issues to resolution.
- Maintain close collaboration with development teams, product managers, and external partners. Communicate testing progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Constantly seek opportunities to improve QA workflow efficiency and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in quality assurance.
