Title: QA Automation Engineer (Mobile Ordering) Location: Chennai, India, Remote Role: As a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) for our Mobile Ordering solution, you will be responsible for elevating and maintaining quality assurance processes for a cutting-edge mobile ordering platform serving millions of users. Specifically, you will be accountable for: - Collaborating with developers and Product Owner to comprehend, design, and execute test cases for emerging features/bugs using Scrum methodology - Conducting comprehensive regression testing - Developing automated test scenarios with high reliability and maintainability - Configuring and executing load tests while synthesizing and reporting test run outcomes - Championing industry best practices in Agile Testing & Automation throughout the software development lifecycle - Mentoring team members on advanced testing strategies - Gathering quality performance metrics and communicating test status/potential risks to stakeholders Required Skills: - Capability to interpret technical requirements and decompose them into granular work tasks - Superior communication capabilities with fluent written and spoken English - Proficiency in JMeter load testing configuration and execution - Expertise in Playwright with Node JS - Advanced Postman skills (API collections, Mock Server configuration) - Manual test case development and implementation using Atlassian Xray - Automated test case creation utilizing Atlassian Xray Preferred Skills: - Espresso with Kotlin for Android UI automation - XCUITest with Swift for iOS UI Automation - Azure DevOps & GitHub Actions C.I Pipelines - Octopus Deploy - Azure Load Testing Planning for the Future: - Employer-provided Life Insurance / AD&D / Short-Term - Voluntary Long-Term Disability Insurance / Term Life Insurance / AD&D - Flexible Spending Account Plans & Commuter Benefit Plans - 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match of $0.50 per $1 on first 8% of pay - Immediate 100% vesting for both employee and company contributions - Roper Employee Stock Purchase Plan Access - Comprehensive Paid Parental Leave Program Compensation varies based on location, skills, and experience.
