Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
- Ensure test data is managed and maintained.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide feedback on testability of features during design and development phases.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and document testing needs.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality.
- Analyze test results and report findings to the team.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software stability.
- Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies.
- Provide support during the software release process.
- Document testing processes and maintain test documentation.
- Collaborate with other QA engineers to share knowledge and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
- Provide input on the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
- Work on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure software reliability.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
- Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.
