Responsibilities
- Run testing cycles ahead of every release, including RCs and hotfixes, using real devices and emulators for both iOS and Android across various operating system versions and device setups.
- Verify bug fixes prior to code merging and app store submission, providing documented quality assessments to support release decisions.
- Manage full lifecycle of bug analysis: reproduce issues, pinpoint root causes, and record detailed reports including steps to reproduce, expected versus actual outcomes, environment specs, logs, and software versions.
- Help refine and advance quality assurance methodologies and practices.
- Engage in agile team events such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demonstrations, actively reviewing acceptance criteria and identifying potential edge cases.
- Identify and communicate recurring quality patterns and highlight components or features prone to instability.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in test automation, including writing test scripts and integrating them into continuous integration systems, with knowledge of iOS and Android development tools.
- Possess working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including platforms like GitHub Actions or comparable systems.
