Role We're looking for a QA Engineer to strengthen our quality team at BeReal. You'll work hand in hand with the Lead QA Engineer, product managers, and engineers to make sure every release meets the quality bar our users expect. You'll be a key player in the release process, bug investigation, and the continuous improvement of our QA practices. - Execute test campaigns before each release (RC, hotfix): smoke and regression testing across real devices and simulators (iOS & Android), multiple OS versions and configurations. - Validate fixes before merge and before store submission, contributing to go / no-go release decisions with a documented quality stance. - Own bug investigation end-to-end: reproduce, isolate, and document issues with clear steps, expected vs actual behavior, environment, logs, and versions. - Contribute to quality practice improvements. - Participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos): challenge acceptance criteria and anticipate edge cases. - Surface quality trends and flag fragile areas. - Experience with test automation: test scripts, CI integration, iOS/Android tooling. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar). Profile - 2+ years of experience in mobile automation, ideally on a high-volume consumer app. - Hands-on experience with iOS and/or Android: manual testing on real devices and emulators/simulators. - Solid grasp of testing types: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory. - Ability to write actionable bug reports and clear, usable test plans. - Experience working in an agile environment. - Native or Bilingual equivalent level in both French and English Benefits - Competitive salary based on experience - Swile Lunch voucher - Gymlib (100% covered by Voodoo) - Premium healthcare coverage with SideCare, 100% covered for you and your family - Wellness activities in our Paris office - Remote days on Fridays
