Talan is looking for a QA Analyst Junior to support our Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) data governance and data quality initiatives. You will work on translating business and regulatory requirements into operational data controls, collaborating closely with business and technology teams.
What You'll Do
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into effective data quality controls for completeness, coherence, and consistency.
- Design, implement, and maintain data quality controls within the central Data Tooling platform (DaQua).
- Identify and validate appropriate data sources, tables, and fields to ensure correct control scope.
- Monitor control execution, analyze data quality issues, and coordinate remediation with business and IT teams.
- Collaborate closely with business users, data owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure expected outcomes.
- Lead workshops and working sessions to support stakeholder alignment on data quality topics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality processes across CIB domains.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data quality or data governance projects within financial institutions.
- Strong experience using SQL (or similar languages) to extract, analyze, and validate data.
- Proven experience in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of data quality controls.
- Good knowledge of CIB/SCIB environments and business domains (Banking, Markets, Risk, GTB).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including leading workshops and meetings with business users.
- Clear communication skills, proactive mindset, and solution-oriented approach.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with key banking systems such as Loan IQ, Murex, Calypso, JQUEST, Aqua+, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data quality tooling, ideally DaQua / Data Tooling.

- Compensation range: US$90,000 - US$110,000
