Iris Software is seeking a skilled Python SDET to support Quality Engineering transformation across our Enterprise Risk applications. We are looking for an individual with 5-7 years of experience and strong Python, SQL, and ETL testing expertise to focus on automation scale, reusable utilities, and AI-assisted QE.
What You'll Do
- Accelerate automation across Enterprise Risk (ER) applications.
- Convert high-volume regression scenarios into Python-based automation.
- Identify high-ROI test scenarios for automation.
- Extend and build shared utilities like a table comparator, SQL generator, and DDL validator.
- Use GitHub Copilot for SQL and script generation.
- Generate automated coverage and stability reports.
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar SDET or automation role.
- Strong Python programming skills for data validation and automation.
- Advanced SQL knowledge including joins, transformations, and reconciliation logic.
- Ability to interpret mapping and TSD documents to derive comprehensive test scenarios.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ETL/Data Warehouse testing across ingestion, staging, and target layers.
- Familiarity with schema/DDL validation and table-to-table comparisons.
- Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot for script acceleration.
- Familiarity with AWS, Redshift, or Netezza.
