Devsu is looking for a Python Backend Engineer to focus on building scalable backend systems and data-driven solutions. You will apply your expertise in Flask to create robust APIs and contribute to a culture of clean, well-documented code.
What You'll Do
- Build scalable backend systems.
- Ensure clean and well-documented code.
- Contribute to data-driven solutions.
- Create, test, and deploy APIs.
- Maintain proper API documentation.
- Handle and transform datasets for various business applications.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in backend engineering.
- Strong focus on Python and Flask.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy or similar ORM for data management.
- Proven ability to create, test, and deploy APIs and maintain proper documentation.
- Familiarity with data processing techniques to handle and transform datasets.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem, particularly React.js.
- Knowledge of accounting and ERP platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Netsuite, or Oracle Sage.
- Knowledge of SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
- Experience with financial data or working with accounting systems.
