Devsu is hiring a Python Backend Engineer (Flask)

Devsu is looking for a Python Backend Engineer to focus on building scalable backend systems and data-driven solutions. You will apply your expertise in Flask to create robust APIs and contribute to a culture of clean, well-documented code.

What You'll Do

• Build scalable backend systems.
• Ensure clean and well-documented code.
• Contribute to data-driven solutions.
• Create, test, and deploy APIs.
• Maintain proper API documentation.
• Handle and transform datasets for various business applications.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong focus on Python and Flask.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy or similar ORM for data management.
• Proven ability to create, test, and deploy APIs and maintain proper documentation.
• Familiarity with data processing techniques to handle and transform datasets.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem, particularly React.js.
• Knowledge of accounting and ERP platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Netsuite, or Oracle Sage.
• Knowledge of SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
• Experience with financial data or working with accounting systems.
