Washington University in St. Louis seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to join the Department of Medicine Business Office. This remote role is responsible for overseeing purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse. You will negotiate pricing, receive shipments, verify orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
What You'll Do
- Order and receive parts and goods into inventory.
- Negotiate and secure pricing for materials.
- Maintain warehouse in an orderly arrangement.
- Review and process purchase orders, bills of lading, and invoices.
- Set up shipments with ground carriers.
- Manage key distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
Nice to Have
- 3 years of warehouse experience.
- Data Management skills.
- Multitasking ability.
- Oral Communications proficiency.
- Relationship Management experience.
- Time Management skills.
- Written Communication proficiency.
- Experience with Yardi software.
