Ehrenkind is looking for a Purchasing Assistant (m/w/d) to join our team and ensure smooth operations in the hardware department. In this role, you will be a key player in our purchasing processes, working closely with suppliers and optimizing procurement for our children's furniture and toys.
What You'll Do
- Maintain data in the ERP system, including article creation and master data upkeep.
- Process purchase orders in the ERP system and communicate them to suppliers.
- Handle invoices, goods receipts, and clarify any quantity discrepancies.
- Serve as the point of contact for other departments regarding ERP data maintenance.
- Act as the interface to the accounting department, ensuring completeness of all purchasing documents.
- Maintain close exchange with suppliers, coordinating production and delivery dates.
- Check invoices and credit notes, process payments, and ensure accuracy.
- Optimize processes within your area of responsibility to ensure smooth workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy communicating with multiple contacts simultaneously.
- A very meticulous and conscientious approach, preferring to double-check details.
- Very good Excel skills and enjoyment in familiarizing yourself with new tools and processes.
- Analytical thinking as a strength and comfort with numbers.
- Good English language skills in spoken and written form.
- You live within a radius of approximately 2 hours from Schwäbisch Hall.

- Initial knowledge in purchasing and/or disposition and a strong desire to expand it.
