SanDisk is looking for a Public Sector Solutions Architect to drive and manage the technology evaluation and validation stages of the sales process for government customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance and support throughout the entire sales cycle to exceed revenue targets.
What You'll Do
- Engage with government customers onsite and remotely, providing technical expertise and adopting a mature consultancy and advisor role during pre-sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets through the adoption of GitLab.
- Be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) on Customer Success Plans and technical evaluations via POC/POV ownership, tender/audit support, and workshop design.
- Build deep relationships within customer environments to enable them to be GitLab advocates.
- Serve as the customer advocate to other GitLab teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Marketing.
- Maintain specialty competency in one or more technologies related to GitLab’s market focus through training, certification, and creation of working examples.
- Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of GitLab and participate in discussions throughout their organization to ensure successful deployment.
- Continuously improve professional skills with a focus on personal mastery and team learning through activities like training, reading, and seeking mentorship.
- Run Value Stream Assessments in your accounts with support of a Senior SA leading the engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Must be a United States Person (defined as a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to government requirements.
- Experience with technical pre-sales or as a professional in the field of information technology.
- Experience with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing and related technologies and practices.
- Ability to use GitLab.
- Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.

- Compensation: $102,900 - $220,500 USD (for residents of California/Colorado/Hawaii/New Jersey/New York/Washington/DC/Illinois/Minnesota) + equity
