About the Role
Offer psychological support to individuals and communities affected by crises and emergencies, both in the United States and abroad, as part of a global humanitarian mission.
Responsibilities
- Assess and address the mental health needs of individuals and communities in crisis situations.
- Develop and implement psychological interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Provide psychological support to individuals and communities affected by crises and emergencies.
- Collaborate with local partners and other organizations to ensure comprehensive mental health care.
- Conduct training and capacity-building workshops for local staff and volunteers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions and programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all psychological assessments and interventions.
- Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of all clients and their information.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice in psychology.
- Participate in regular supervision and case discussions with senior psychologists and other mental health professionals.
- Provide psychological support to staff and volunteers working in high-stress environments.
- Contribute to the development of psychological support programs and initiatives.
