Legion Health seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver world-class outpatient care via telehealth. You will join a team dedicated to expanding access to compassionate psychiatric care for patients across all insurance types.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients with conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health, medical history, and risk analysis.
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans, combining medication and brief psychotherapy.
- Promote an environment of compassion, respect, and empathy in patient interactions.
- Explore and integrate new therapeutic techniques and technologies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in case reviews with peers and physicians.
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP in Utah.
- Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC or equivalent).
- Active DEA registration.
- Eligible for Utah controlled substance privileges through DOPL.
- At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP.
- Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure.
- Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort using technology and electronic health record systems.
