Sehinc is searching for a Proposal Writer to join their Marketing team. The role involves drafting content for RFQ/RFPs, translating technical information, and collaborating on proposal strategy and production. You will help build a better world through impactful projects as part of our 100% employee-owned company.
What You'll Do
- Participate in internal project pursuit meetings to identify strategic direction and competitive advantages.
- Draft content in response to RFQ/RFP information and evaluation criteria to showcase unique qualifications.
- Translate technical information into content that resonates with a variety of audiences.
- Conduct thorough editorial reviews to ensure one-voice and compliance with standards.
- Support the interview preparation process from strategy to final rehearsals.
- Collaborate with designers and proposal coordinators to communicate content visually.
- Assist in managing proposal assets including project experience and resumes.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED and a personalized cover letter submitted with your application.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing, with the ability to translate technical information.
- Familiarity with AP style and editorial standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback in a collaborative environment.
- Interest in AI-powered marketing tools and emerging technologies.
- Ability to build strong relationships across remote teams.
- Collaborative and strategic mindset with the ability to influence pursuit strategy.
Nice to Have
- Candidates residing in the following states: Texas, Arizona, Florida, or Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in strategy development, client-focused writing, and responding to RFQs/RFPs.
- Experience with and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud/InDesign.
- Proficiency with digital tools like HubSpot or Aprimo.
- Experience working in a remote team environment.
- Ability to provide a writing sample if selected for an interview.
