COUNTRY Financial is hiring a Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster to serve clients in Montgomery, AL and the surrounding area. In this role, you will ensure a consistent and satisfying claims experience by handling more complex property claims from investigation through settlement. You will learn to use innovative technologies like drones and virtual claim handling software.
What You'll Do
- Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned claims.
- Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather information, obtain recorded statements when necessary, and explain the claims process.
- Complete physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates according to policy provisions.
- May be called upon for catastrophic duty.
What We're Looking For
- Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
- For this Field role: A Part 107 drone license is required for roof inspections. The license must be obtained within 5 months of the start date, with a requirement to pass the exam within 3 attempts.
