GE HealthCare is hiring a Project Quality Engineer- Supplier Quality

GE HealthCare is hiring a Project Quality Engineer- Supplier Quality to develop and drive a supplier performance culture within a project-based, transactional business. You will lead supplier visits, root cause analyses, process improvements, and performance reviews to meet efficiency targets and support continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Implement and support counter measures and actions for performance improvement
• Perform Quality and Continuous Improvement activities with cross-functional teams to meet cost out and efficiency project deliverables
• Contribute to established targets with no compromise on product quality, compliance, supplier continuity, efficiency, and risk mitigations
• Conduct supplier audits using a standard auditing template
• Generate new improvement opportunities and help consolidate the next cost-out action pipeline
• Support the Partner and Supplier Qualification process
• Ensure all product compliance requirements are properly addressed in the quality package
• Prepare and coordinate with Customer and Supply Chain quality inspections per ITP to obtain full approval and follow-up on punch points

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering from an accredited school
• Minimum of 4 years of supplier quality experience
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• Experience in Quality or Project Management in a turnkey projects environment, preferably in the energy industry
• Technical, hands-on experience with the manufacturing of Transformers, Pre-Fabricated Buildings, Switchboard/Switchgear, or Capacitors
• PMI or ASQ Certification
• Fluent English
• Ability to travel up to 50% for this role

You will support a cross-functional team including tendering, engineering, project management, sourcing/procurement, logistics, quality, finance, and Lean.

• Compensation: $87,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD Annual
