Responsibilities
- Lead sustainability initiatives across diverse entities, ensuring they support overarching strategic goals
- Manage the complete lifecycle of sustainability data reporting, including compiling and submitting information to regulatory bodies
- Establish, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators and value-driven plans such as operational efficiency targets
- Evaluate and manage risks with emphasis on regulatory compliance and legal exposure
- Perform sustainability assessments and assist in creating strategies for areas like water, energy, and carbon reduction, including implementation timelines
- Lead integration efforts to standardize processes and reporting frameworks across organizations
- Work closely with teams across Sustainability, Operations, and other business units
- Foster consensus among stakeholders, especially senior leadership, in complex or uncertain situations
- Ensure compliance with sustainability standards, regulatory requirements, and responsible sourcing guidelines
- Promote ongoing enhancement of sustainability processes and reporting methods
