Thales was looking for a Project Manager

Thales's UCS Engineering Directorate is seeking a Project Manager or experienced Scrum Master. You will lead teams of developers, business analysts, and IVVQ engineers to deliver secure, innovative, cloud-native web and mobile applications for critical sectors including defense, energy, health, and finance. This role sits within a Directorate of over 1000 engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in and animate team meetings including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and sprint planning.
  • Prepare and animate steering committee meetings (cotechs, copil, coexec) for client and internal visibility.
  • Monitor and update project progress, schedule, and budget.
  • Prepare macro-estimations for developments and plan them into sprints.
  • Monitor integrations, deliveries, and overall project quality.
  • Animate internal brainstorming sessions to identify value-adds.

What We're Looking For

  • An engineering degree or equivalent Bac+5 qualification.
  • Successful professional experience as a Project Manager or experienced Scrum Master.
  • Experience managing teams of development engineers, business analysts, and IVVQ engineers.
  • Significant technical background in the software development world.
  • Knowledge of agile methods, including SAFe.
  • Experience in project management within a fixed-price context.
  • Passion for managing a diversified project portfolio.
  • Autonomous, dynamic, and proactive with natural leadership abilities.
  • Capacity for adaptation and versatility in a complex context.
  • A good level of English.
