NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) is looking for a Project Manager to deliver all aspects of significant software implementation projects for our Public Safety clients. You will own the delivery from contract signature through go-live and into service, managing deadlines, milestones, and processes to required quality, time, and cost.
What You'll Do
- Manage client implementations of Public Safety software from contract signature through to go-live.
- Conduct resource planning and stakeholder management of the force, third-party contractors, and internal/external teams.
- Coordinate resources from internal and external teams to move the project forward to completion.
- Ensure escalations are managed and any issues are addressed.
- Attend and run all internal boards for senior stakeholders.
- Represent NEC within all Customer meetings.
- Ensure the NEC delivery budget is adhered to.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a project manager of significant software implementations.
- Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods.
- Strong project management knowledge and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines calmly and effectively.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and project management software.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- An analytical mind-set with great problem-solving abilities.
- Numeric, methodical, approachable, and an excellent communicator at many levels.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand and report on the budget.
- Proven ability to self-manage and remain productive under pressure.
- Professionally presented and a great ambassador for the Company.
- Positive work ethic, including a willingness to work extended hours where appropriate.
- The ability to undergo SC clearance is essential.
Nice to Have
- Preferably a Degree or equivalent.
- PRINCE2 practitioner certification.
