M&T Bank is looking for a Project Manager III to support the second line of defense credit risk management program and strategic initiatives. You will provide oversight through risk management expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and documentation, while developing the program to align with Enterprise Risk standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead or support cross-functional, high-priority initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment on scope, objectives, roles, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, constraints, and assumptions for initiatives.
- Communicate plans effectively to ensure shared understanding, set expectations, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Drive timely execution of initiative tasks, escalating issues and risks as needed, and implement approved mitigation actions.
- Manage risk processes and system reporting within the Credit Risk Management Program Office, including Archer eGRC.
- Prepare professional reporting and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) for Governance Committees and Executive Management.
- Provide support for ad hoc departmental needs and requests.
- Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, identifying and escalating risk-related issues as appropriate.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ proven initiative management experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ initiative management experience.
- Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent software packages.
Nice to Have
- Previous Commercial Credit/lending experience or relevant financial services industry experience
- Risk Management foundational knowledge
- Experience with the development of visualization and reporting solutions
- Power BI experience
- Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $89,600.00 - $149,300.00 Annual (USD)
