Copeland is seeking a Project Manager - EU to lead the execution of installation and upgrade projects for smart thermostat systems across Europe, with a focus on hotels. This role, part of the Verdant division, is essential to scaling operations, ensuring on-time and high-quality deployments, and supporting European partners in delivering energy-efficient solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of smart thermostat projects across multiple hotel sites in Europe.
- Coordinate timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables for each project phase.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, field partners, and hotel stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel operators, contractors, and integration partners.
- Set clear expectations and maintain communication across all project stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between technical, commercial, and operational teams.
- Conduct project kick-offs, site readiness assessments, and resource allocation planning.
- Develop rollout strategies tailored to building occupancy and operational constraints.
- Ensure all project activities meet safety standards, building codes, and local regulations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and blockers to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee quality assurance throughout the installation lifecycle, including field audits and remote QA checks.
- Ensure projects adhere to defined specifications and performance benchmarks.
- Maintain up-to-date project dashboards, timelines, and documentation.
- Report on key milestones, issues, and learnings to internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to the refinement of our project delivery playbook.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of project management experience in HVAC, building automation, energy systems, or IoT deployments.
- Proven track record managing multiple installations across different geographies.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and integration workflows.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Monday.com).
- Willingness to travel across Europe and the UK as needed.
Nice to Have
- Degree or certification in Engineering, HVAC, Construction Management, or Project Management.
- Experience working with multinational teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with European energy efficiency regulations and smart building technologies.
- Knowledge of the Cora Project Management tool is a strong asset.
