GE Energy Power Conversion UK Limited is hiring a Project Manager - EPC Projects to manage the delivery, P&L, and customer satisfaction for major equipment, facility, and infrastructure projects. You will function with autonomy, guided by established policies, to manage complex multi-year projects and project-related resources.
What You'll Do
- Oversee Turnkey Self-Implementation (TKSI) or Cooperative Turnkey (TKP) projects, which are large, complex multi-year or EPC projects.
- Directly or indirectly lead and/or manage project resources for TKSI or TKP projects.
- Execute policy and strategy using in-depth technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and technical experience.
- Handle more complex, technically diverse, and/or interdependent manufacturing processes by proposing different solutions beyond set parameters.
- Make decisions using multiple internal resources and limited external resources outside your own team.
- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
- Lead small projects with low risk and resource requirements.
- Explain information and develop skills to build consensus among team members.
- Communicate performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
What We're Looking For
- Substantial work experience in the field.
- Educational level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma with equivalent experience).
