Lead and deliver critical capital planning projects as a Project Manager with a focus on building assessments and long-term asset strategy. You'll manage every phase of project delivery—from site evaluations and data analysis to reporting and client communication—ensuring accurate, actionable outcomes for property owners and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct on-site inspections and lead the development of Building Condition Assessments and Depreciation Reports with clear, practical recommendations.
- Develop project proposals, define scopes of work, and establish realistic budgets and timelines.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, tracking progress and maintaining alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
- Stay current with evolving building codes, materials technology, and market trends to ensure high-quality, forward-looking reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience in capital planning, building science, or a related technical field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Science, or a technology-focused diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel, for documentation and data management.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access for site visits across the region.
- Self-direction and initiative, with a proven ability to lead projects independently while contributing positively to team efforts.
- Deep understanding of building systems, codes, and industry best practices.
