Motorola Solutions is hiring a Project Manager to join our Professional Services team. You will be responsible for ensuring customers are highly satisfied with their Noggin software implementations, receive maximum value from our products, and continue their subscriptions. This role involves leading customer engagements and managing project delivery according to the Noggin methodology.
What You'll Do
- Lead customers through the implementation process as the primary contact for Noggin.
- Lead project teams by setting direction, defining ways of working, managing task allocation, and aligning the team with project objectives.
- Provide accurate project status information through internal systems.
- Manage project scope and schedule, raising variations as change requests to deliver additional revenue.
- Identify and remediate potential problems during implementation and serve as the first point of escalation for client issues.
- Perform project governance, including onboarding, stakeholder identification, and schedule planning.
- Coordinate project billable milestones and work with accounting for timely payments.
- Work with clients to keep them adhering to schedules, informed of deliverables, and accountable for deadlines.
- Liaise with Architecture and Engineering teams for integration and development support.
- Optimize project cost through the efficient use of configuration consultant resources.
- Maintain all project documentation according to team guidelines.
- Supervise and plan weekly work allocations for Implementation and Configuration Consultants.
- Help team members achieve specified billable utilization targets.
- Maintain a personal billable utilization of 50% or higher.
- Perform people management duties, including performance reviews and bonus allocation.
- Plan team capacity and provide inputs into Professional Services forecasts.
- Identify opportunities for future work phases and pass them to the Customer Success Manager.
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives and methodology improvement by identifying opportunities and sharing lessons learned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, information technology, computer science, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in business or software analysis, or SAAS/software implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, evaluation, and designing solutions for SAAS or software implementations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading customer engagements and delivering software implementations.
- 5+ years of experience working in software and/or professional services delivery.
- 2+ years of direct project management experience.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI or machine learning technologies.
Team & Environment
You will be the direct manager for implementation consultant resources within the Professional Services team, overseeing teams of 3 to 5 implementation consultants.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $115,000 CAD - $135,000 CAD.

This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
