Lead the financial and operational oversight of SAP projects by tracking budgets, timelines, and performance metrics. You will work closely with finance and project teams to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Monitor project expenditures and compare them against approved budgets to identify variances
- Prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for project stakeholders
- Support decision-making with well-structured documentation and data-driven insights
- Contribute to project planning and help define key milestones and deliverables
- Track progress against schedules and flag potential delays or bottlenecks
- Identify financial and scheduling risks and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure projects meet quality standards while staying within defined constraints
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate clear reports
- Proven ability to manage project finances and detect deviations from planned budgets
- Excellent written and spoken English, Slovak, and German for effective collaboration with international colleagues
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Logical thinker who proactively identifies problems and develops practical solutions
- Effective communicator comfortable engaging with diverse team members and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Power BI
- Basic understanding of project management concepts including scheduling, milestones, and critical path analysis
