Responsibilities
- Lead teams delivering complex capital and infrastructure projects across a large, operational campus environment.
- Provide support to existing projects as an Assistant PM or take on delivery of other projects in portfolio based on skill/ability level.
- Adapt project strategies to evolving budgets and government funding cycles.
- Guide projects through internal governance and government approval processes, including development of decision packages and submittals.
- Define project scope, develop execution strategies, and establish cost, schedule, procurement, and resource plans.
- Lead teams through challenging project conditions and seeing work through from planning to execution.
- Oversee general contractor and subcontractor execution in a highly regulated environment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to scope changes, budget constraints, and working within existing infrastructure.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving overall project execution practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance before you can start.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of capital, facility, laboratory, office, and infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience defining project scope, developing execution strategies, and establishing cost, schedule, procurement, and resource plans.
- Experience adapting project strategies to evolving budgets and government funding cycles.
- Experience guiding projects through internal governance and government approval processes, including development of decision packages and submittals.
- Coordinating across engineering, construction, procurement, finance, operations, sponsors, and oversight stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing general contractor and subcontractor execution in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience identifying and mitigating risks related to scope changes, budget constraints, and working within existing infrastructure.
Nice to Have
- Active DOE "L" Clearance or DOD "Secret" clearance.
- Ability to lead project teams through complex constraints within a structured regulatory framework.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey project needs and status.
- Sound judgment when navigating changing budgets, shifting priorities, and multiple approval steps.
- Ability to solve practical infrastructure and facility challenges on an active site.
- Leadership presence and ability to align matrixed teams.

- Capital projects within complex campuses, industrial sites, government facilities, or similar environments.
- Prior experience with office buildings, laboratory facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience working within formal approval and funding processes.
- Experience with contractor and subcontractor management.
