High Tech Genesis is hiring a Project Manager

High Tech Genesis is hiring a Project Manager with deep embedded systems expertise to join our North America Professional Services team. In this role, you will take full ownership of projects, driving delivery and ensuring customer commitments are met.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary customer interface during discovery and evaluation of requirements.
• Manage opportunity execution and inter-group relationships throughout the pre-sales life cycle.
• Deliver proposal packages including Statements of Work (SOW), project plans, detailed schedules, resource planning, risk assessment, and cost analysis.
• Conduct technical and business presentations to customers.
• Project high levels of confidence and technical ability to maintain a track record of successful closures.
• Embed a culture of continuously improving and optimizing processes.
• Measure, analyze, and take action to continuously improve customer satisfaction and manage escalations.
• In due course, manage Software Engineers and other Project Managers.

What We're Looking For

• Candidates must be US Citizens or green card holders.
• 6+ years of engineering or management experience with embedded systems (software and/or hardware).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Proven engineering project and personnel management skills, including planning and managing multiple simultaneous engineering projects, building and leading development teams, and directing the design and troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Direct customer interface experience with a track record of achieving high customer satisfaction.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strength in planning, organization, team leadership, goal accomplishment, professional integrity, adaptability, resourcefulness, energy, and enthusiasm for building technical expertise.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience managing projects with software safety certification standards such as DO-178C, FACE, IEC61508, IEC62504, or ISO26262.
• Additional coursework in business management or a Project Management Institute certificate.
• Experience working with and guiding international teams.
