Computacenter is offering a Project Management Apprenticeship designed to launch your career in a large global organisation. You'll gain hands-on experience delivering projects while working towards a Project Management Level 4 qualification, spending 80% of your time on the job and 20% on learning, with a clear path to develop into a Project Coordinator.
What You'll Do
- Support Project Managers with planning and monitoring projects to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Liaise with internal teams to assign tasks and support schedule management.
- Monitor project risks, opportunities, working hours, and expenditure.
- Support issue management by helping identify problems and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders and share relevant communications.
- Assist with project financial management, including forecasting, monitoring, and tracking costs.
- Support quality assurance activities to ensure standards and requirements are met.
- Support the Portfolio Management team with organising and running project portfolios.
- Progress to opportunities to lead workstreams and smaller initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- GCSEs in English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
- Must hold a Level 3 qualification or 3 A Levels.
- Must not already hold a Level 4 qualification in Project Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Must pass additional eligibility checks with the training provider, including a Maths and English assessment and a review of previous qualifications.
Nice to Have
- A strong interest in project management and delivering successful outcomes.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools.
- A positive, outgoing approach and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across the wider GIS department.
