Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive breakdown framework that integrates data from all control disciplines.
- Lead and facilitate estimating workshops to develop a validated cost baseline aligned with market conditions, emphasizing cost efficiency and realistic budgeting.
- Organize and manage planning sessions to develop a consolidated master project or program schedule with achievable timelines.
- Apply knowledge of procurement strategies to gather lead times and align material and equipment ordering with installation schedules.
- Oversee the risk management lifecycle, conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses to enhance cost and schedule forecasting.
- Engage stakeholders to secure formal approval of baselines and ensure ongoing access to progress reporting.
- Implement a reliable update cycle to monitor and manage schedule, interfaces, cost, risks, and changes effectively.
- Collaborate with the main contractor and client to influence delivery performance and meet schedule and cash flow targets.
- Maintain cost control using expertise in early-stage estimating, funding milestones, contingency planning, and procurement practices.
- Oversee the master program schedule, applying validation checks to updates provided by the client and contractor.
- Manage the change control process, ensuring changes are recorded, tracked, reviewed, and approved efficiently.
- Analyze performance trends and underlying causes of variances using leading and lagging indicators, and report corrective actions to maximize client value.
