About the Role

Cooper Moss Rutland is hiring a Project Controls Data Manager to join a collaborative team delivering complex infrastructure and energy projects. You will be responsible for building data models, analysing processes, and providing insights across project controls functions, re-imagining project controls through a digital lens.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage robust data models and interactive dashboards that deliver actionable insights and highlight key project risks.
  • Analyse and document project control processes with a focus on digital transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead on periodic and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity in monthly project review packs.
  • Support the Project Controls Lead in managing the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and reporting on KPIs across time, cost, risk, change, and quality.
  • Help to implement performance measurement systems like Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Integrate data across schedule, cost, scope, quality, change, and risk to provide a full picture of project health.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across the wider Project Controls community.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to lead teams of Analysts and collaborate on data.
  • Experience of working on multi-million pound contracts within large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong experience with Power Query and DAX for transforming and analysing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and visual reports.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation.
  • Experience within project controls.
  • Understanding of schedule, cost, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and experience in sectors such as transport, energy, or major infrastructure.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
