AECOM is looking for a Project Controls Analyst with 2+ years of experience to support a variety of high-profile projects, typically in the $1 to $2 million range. You'll play a key role by skillfully using company cornerstone systems to represent the cost data formats necessary to control the project, working in close collaboration with Project Managers.
What You'll Do
- Work with company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.
- Apply financial terminology, measures, and data analysis concepts.
- Recognize processes or project actions that may lead to project financial impact.
- Develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for small projects.
- Assist in using drawings and specifications to establish project baseline data.
- Begin basic analysis of cost and schedule variances.
- Assist in assembling data for trending and forecasting.
- Participate in the collection of progress data and review of performance trends.
- Collect data and produce initial analysis on manpower, labor hours, and labor costs versus budget.
- Collect and analyze data to track actual cost against funding limitations.
- Provide support for tracking purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
- Support the project reporting process as required.
- May participate in project cost review meetings.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of the projects, US Citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience with project financial analysis.
- Experience with Workbench, Oracle, Salesforce, and/or Excel.
