Bossier Parish Community College is hiring a Program Specialist to manage and maintain a DOTD district's asset data within the MMS program. You will apply knowledge of DOTD operations to ensure data accuracy, prepare correspondence and reports, and collaborate with district personnel to update records.
What You'll Do
- Ensure asset records within DOTD's MMS are kept current with updates from maintenance crews, construction contracts, repair contracts, or permitted projects.
- Specialize in a specific roadway asset type, serving as the team's subject matter expert, learning details and specifications, and training team members.
- Serve as an onsite aid to the district for accurately recording maintenance activities on asset types, including managing data changes and troubleshooting software and databases.
What We're Looking For
- Three years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, human resources, financial operations, information technology, risk management, policy planning, or administrative services.
- OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field.
- OR a bachelor's degree.

- Program Specialist 2: $1,443.20 bi-weekly
- Program Specialist 3: $1,652.00 bi-weekly
