Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a subsidiary of McKesson, is hiring a Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives. In this role, you will drive the intentional planning and execution of our highest priority initiatives to support growth. You will execute in support of business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes for cross-functional priorities and support the annual strategic planning process.
What You'll Do
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of the end-to-end process for Fiscal Year strategic work planning for priority cross-functional work.
- Support the design, execution, and follow-ups for key workshops.
- Act as a facilitator in segment workshops, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and next steps.
- Support governance processes within the business segment.
- Develop and deliver executive-level communications, including pre-reads, decks, and summary updates for senior leadership.
- Act as an internal consultant to support the resolution of business challenges and advancement of strategic priorities.
- Partner with any acquisition teams to support integration needs as required.
- Contribute to team culture through recognition, collaboration, and mentorship of others.
What We're Looking For
- A 4-year degree in business strategy or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience operating in large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to operate with curiosity, enthusiasm to take on new opportunities, and willingness to tackle tough challenges.
- Demonstrated resiliency and situational adaptability.
- Skill in tailoring your communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
- Ability to influence people through effective communications, persuade with data, and build commitment and support of others.
- Ability to direct the work of others through influencing, by providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles.
- Energized by driving project execution and keeping stakeholders aligned and on-track.
- Understands basic financial principles and applies them to real-world business situations.
- Ability to assess and maneuver through complex processes, policies, and organizational dynamics.
Nice to Have
- An MBA is preferred.
- Consulting experience is a plus.
- Experience with business transformations and/or process improvements is a plus.

- Salary range: $83,900 - $139,900
