CDW is hiring a Program Manager, DCaaS

About the Role

At CDW, we are looking for a Program Manager, DCaaS to lead one of our fastest-growing businesses. You will be responsible for the entire DCaaS product offering, from inception through installation, acting as a key sales resource and trusted advisor to expand our consumption-as-a-service portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on DCaaS, answering questions about CDW and partner processes.
  • Stay current on partner and industry DCaaS practices through research and training, sharing insights with the team.
  • Drive account-level DCaaS engagements as a key resource for sales, presales, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with CDW and partner sales and presales teams.
  • Present the DCaaS value proposition and solutions to internal and external audiences.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and ensure timely resolution through regular communication.
  • Conduct regular cadence with the DCaaS Channel Manager, CDW Metered Consumption Manager, and leadership to provide pipeline updates.
  • Manage the pricing process with partners and CDW presales, requesting and escalating as needed.
  • Request SOW creation, conduct redlining, and manage the contract process with customers and the account team.
  • Maintain a close relationship and knowledge of processes with Contracts and Legal.
  • Own the pipeline, knowing the status and next steps for each opportunity to drive deals to close.
  • Update the pipeline report regularly for monthly executive reviews.
  • Review DCaaS reporting monthly with the PPM Program Manager and CDW Metered Consumption Manager.
  • Investigate new DCaaS deal registrations and Quick Quotes from weekly partner reports.
  • Validate initial project scope and revenue estimates.
  • Manage the change order process throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Collaborate proactively with the Partner Program Manager to calculate rebate payouts and distribute signed SOWs.
  • Leverage distribution resources knowledgeably throughout the sales cycle.
  • Document outcomes and lessons learned, sharing them appropriately with colleagues.
  • Ensure all items defined in CDW Statements of Work are delivered and perform quality assurance.
  • Facilitate in-market customer, CDW, and partner marketing and training events.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a computer-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, sales, and/or presales.
  • 2+ years of experience leading significant projects within an Advanced Technology solution area.
  • Experience selling as-a-service cloud solutions.
  • Ability to analyze partner portfolios and identify collaboration areas.
  • Significant success leading projects with enterprise or strategic customers across several technologies.
  • Desire to stay current on products, services, market conditions, and competitive activities.
  • Ability to suggest and initiate new processes to improve team best practices.
  • Demonstrated accountability for projects and their results, fiscal responsibility, and leadership.
  • Proven success selling technology solutions and services.
  • Knowledge and success in engaging and working with sales teams.
  • Ability to execute on territory goals and metrics.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and team coverage models.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong passion for learning and teaching others.
  • Motivated and self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop proactive ideas to increase sales.
  • Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to leverage business acumen, political savvy, experience, and communication to build credibility.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information for stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization, and instruction-following abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience and/or knowledge of DCaaS consumption as-a-service business.
  • Experience with other next-gen competitive consumption as-a-service models.
  • Understanding of basic business finance concepts and market trends.
  • Relevant industry standard certifications.

Team & Environment

You will work with cross-functional teams from across CDW, partners, and distribution. This involves close collaboration with the DCaaS Channel Manager, CDW Metered Consumption Manager, and the broader leadership team.
