About the Role

Puget Sound Energy is looking for a Program Coordinator to coordinate the operational activities for our Demand Response customer programs. You will be responsible for program execution including communications, training, budget tracking, stakeholder management, and customer service, while identifying process improvements and co-developing project plans. This role is part of our Customer Energy Management & Renewables team.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate cross product and service efforts between vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders for Residential DR, Behavioral DR, and C&I DR products.
  • Coordinate vendor contract and program overlap opportunities for C&I DR, Residential DR, Thermostats, Water Heat, BDR, EVSE, and BESS.
  • Coordinate Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) reporting including customer energy benefits and participation levels.
  • Manage projects, provide regular updates, and communicate changes to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Develop and revise materials such as presentations, trainings, reports, marketing collateral, and statements of work.
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and customers on integration opportunities, program impacts, and necessary trainings.
  • Identify opportunities to evaluate program data trends, report insights, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support decision making.
  • Identify and support execution of process improvement initiatives and quality control processes.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction survey scores and comments, identify action items, and address or escalate customer complaints.
  • Support development of strategic marketing and outreach initiatives to help reach program goals.
  • Manage program orientation process and oversee training for program implementers and contractors.
  • Conduct market research and support development of business cases, strategic planning, and potential pilot initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 3 years of experience with program coordinator and/or management, planning & budgetary responsibility.
  • 2 years of experience in planning with some budgeting responsibilities.
  • Experience in communications campaigns.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation and analytical skills.
  • Experience providing an excellent customer service experience.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings including set-up and day-of logistics.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training to internal and external partners.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and communicating to an audience.
  • Experience working with Tableau or other data visualization software.
  • Experience coordinating and/or managing both external and internal vendors and stakeholders including trade organizations and community outreach.
  • Knowledge of energy markets and experience in the utility industry.
  • Knowledge of Demand Response, Load Shifting and Load Flexibility.
  • Desire to work in team environment.
