Modine, a company focused on engineering a cleaner, healthier world, is hiring a Production Supervisor for our data center operations in Grenada, MS. You will oversee daily production activities, ensure efficient operations and high-quality standards, and foster a safe and productive work environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the production team, assigning tasks, setting schedules, and monitoring performance to meet production targets.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain high-quality standards by implementing and enforcing production protocols, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Plan, organize, and oversee manufacturing processes related to data center products, aligning with company goals and customer requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, challenges, and areas for improvement to senior management.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting engineering drawings, production schedules, and quality control standards.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Exposure to data center operations or related industries.
